DC Comics kommer inte bara att göra crossovers med konkurrenten Marvel utan planerar även att ge ut en sådan tillsammans med MAD Magazine, den legendariska humortidningen som sedan 2018 ägs av DC Comics.

I en pressrelease skriver DC Comics att "MAD About DC" blir en specialutgåva som kommer att innehålla "serier, kaos och tvivelaktiga beslut". DC Comics chefredaktör Marie Javins säger om den kommande utgåvan:

"This project embraces the spirit of MAD Magazine in the best possible way. MAD has a long tradition of sharp, fearless satire, poking fun at everything, including DC, with real wit and craft. When Chip pitched a project that would roast the DC Universe, it was clear he could assemble the right team. These creators know our characters inside and out, which is why they can twist them in ways that feel both surprising and smart. That kind of playful irreverence is what MAD does best."

Ovan syns omslaget till "MAD About DC" och nedan ett alternativt omslag till tidningen. Den släpps på den amerikanska seriemarknaden den 1 april.
