History Channel har levererat en del godbitar för tv. Just nu arbetar de på en miniserie baserad på Hannibal Barkas. Serien, som kort och gott kommer att heta Hannibal, produceras av Halle Berry och är skriven av Jeffrey Caine. Deadline beskrev handlingen mer detaljerat:"Hannibal begins in Carthage, 264 BC, at the beginning of his life in North Africa and takes viewers through the Second Punic War between Carthage and Rome. In what became legend, Hannibal and his archrival Scipio Africanus take a sacred vow to destroy the other and the nation he served. However, despite their fiercely opposed allegiances, the two are brought together and grow to respect each other as brothers." Någon information om när serien ska ha premiär finns inte ännu.
