Google köper det israeliska företaget Siemplify för 500 miljoner dollar för att stärka säkerheten för sina molntjänster. Google har redan en egen satsning kring detta som man kallar för Chronicle, Siemplify är lite av förstärkning till detta. Sunil Potti chef för Google Cloud Security säger:
"Siemplify is an intuitive workbench that enables security teams to both manage risk better and reduce the cost of addressing threats... Siemplify allows Security Operation Center analysts to manage their operations from end-to-end, respond to cyber threats with speed and precision, and get smarter with every analyst interaction.”

Siemplify startades 2015 och har sedan tidigare fått in 58 miljoner dollar totalt från investerare.
