Nu har Spotify meddelat att deras Clubhouse-liknande tjänst Spotify Greenroom byter namn till Spotify Live, något som det började ryktas om var på gång för en månad sedan.

Förra månadens rykte uppgav även att Spotify Greenroom/Spotify Live skulle flytta in i Spotifys vanliga app, något som även det stämde. Spotify Live kommer dock även att finnas kvar som en fristående app för de lyssnare som även vill chatta med den eller dem som sänder program via tjänsten. Spotify skriver i ett pressmeddelande:

"Spotify Live can now be found both as the stand-alone app listeners and hosts know and love, and as a livestream function in the Spotify app alongside your favorite music and podcasts. Listeners will be able to tune in to live programming on Spotify via the creator’s podcast or artist page, and if they want to participate in the chat or join the host onstage, they can head to the Spotify Live app to do so."

Den fristående appen till Spotify Live går att ladda ner till iOS från App Store här och och till Android från Google Play här.
