Det amerikanska spelmuseet The Strong har presenterat de spel som man valt in i World Video Game Hall of Fame i år, något man gjort för att hylla olika spel sedan 2015.De fyra spel som valts in för 2026 är Angry Birds som Rovio släppte 2009, Konamis Silent Hill från 1999, Square Enix Dragon Quest från 1986 och EA:s FIFA International Soccer från 1993. Andra spel som nominerats till World Video Game Hall of Fame i år var Frogger, Galaga, League of Legends, Mega Man, PaRappa the Rapper, RuneScape, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim och Tokimeki.Sedan 2015 har sammanlagt 53 spel valts in i World Video Game Hall of Fame.
