2K meddelar att den första nedladdningsbara expansionen till trevliga Borderlands landar 24 november till Xbox 360 och PS3. Titulerad The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned kastar expansionen in dig i en fajt mot odöda.The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned will feature undead opponents aplenty, accidentally created by the titular doctor (unrelated to Dr. Zed, one of the first characters people meet in the game). Players will join up with the semi-mad scientist to track down his creations, which are running amok in a new region the DLC adds to the game, Jakobs Cove. The new area will also be infested with were-skags, which are fearsome cousins of the aggressive scaled creatures that infest the planet Pandora, the game's setting. Låter helt i linje med originalspelet.Priset blir 800 points respektive motsvarande 10 USD på de två konsolerna. Inga uppgifter om när PC-ägarna får expansionen, men info om det kommer vid ett senare tillfälle enligt 2K.
