DICE LA byter namn till Ripple Effect Studios
Vill ha lite egen identitet
EA meddelar idag att DICE LA, supportstudion som hjälpt till med tidigare Battlefield-titlar och jobbar på nya Battlefield 2042, har fått ett sprillans nytt namn. Numera kommer studion gå under namnet Ripple Effect Studios och utöver det nya namnet har vi även fått reda på att gänget jobbar på ett nytt, helt eget, projekt. Christian Grass, general manager på Ripple Effect Studios, säger detta om namnbytet:
“At Ripple Effect Studios, innovation and quality are at the forefront of every project as even the smallest idea can change the world. This is the defining characteristic behind the studio’s new name. We’re so proud of our work as DICE LA and the DICE team will forever be a part of our DNA, but over the past eight years, we’ve developed our own culture and our own way of doing things. We’re excited to look towards the future, expand the team and establish our own identity.”
Nu kommer studion försöka rekrytera lite nya talanger som kan hjälpa till att färdigställa Battlefield 2042 och sedan gå över till det nya projektet. Vad det hela handlar om är okänt, men då EA Play Live drar igång om två veckor så kan det hända att vi får reda på vad som händer och sker i bygget då.
