The Last of Us Part II försenas

För bara någon månad sedan meddelade Sony att The Last of Us Part II skulle släppas den 21 februari 2020. Det var helt klart glädjande nyheter eftersom många sett fram emot detta spel.
I går kväll så blev det dock klart att spelet inte kommer släppas då utan att det istället kommer släppas den 29 maj 2020. Anledningen till det är att Naughty Dog insåg att de inte skulle hinna få ut spelet till den 21 februari och fortfarande erbjuda Naughty Dog-kvalitén vi är vana med.
However, it was during the last few weeks, as we were closing out sections of the game, that we realised we simply didn’t have enough time to bring the entire game up to a level of polish we would call Naughty Dog quality. At this point we were faced with two options: compromise parts of the game or get more time. We went with the latter, and this new release date allows us to finish everything to our level of satisfaction while also reducing stress on the team.
