Google drar igång DeepMind Institute Ska pyssla med AGI-forskning Google drar igång DeepMind Institute Foto: AI-genererad bild / Gemini Googles AI-division Google DeepMind drar nu igång DeepMind Institute (DMI), en plattform avsedd för forskning för nästa generations AI, det som kallas för artificiell generell intelligens (AGI).DMI dras igång på initiativ av James Manyika på Google Research, Demis Hassabis, medgrundare av DeepMind och nobelpristagare, samt Shane Legg som även han är en DeepMinds grundare samt forskningschef för AGI på Google DeepMind. Tanken bakom DMI är att samla experter från både AI-sektorn och humaniora, ekonomi och politik för att analysera och debattera de samhälleliga, ekonomiska och säkerhetsmässiga konsekvenserna av AGI. I ett inlägg skriver de tre grundarna om DMI:"We’re launching the DeepMind Institute (DMI) to spur the interdisciplinary research, collaboration and debate required to answer the AGI era's most critical technical and societal questions. What will we value, and how will AGI impact what it means to be human? How do we safely build and govern AGI systems and the communities of agents they will form?
